AN ACT relative to retraining requirements for operators of underground storage facilities.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty
AN ACT relative to retraining requirements for operators of underground storage facilities.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Underground Storage Facilities; Operator Training Requirements. Amend RSA 146-C:18, I(a)(3) to read as follows:
(3) After the initial training, [at least biennial retraining] every 4 years or at such times the department determines there are substantial changes to the initial training.
2 Underground Storage Facilities; Operator Training Requirements. Amend RSA 146-C:18, I(b)(5) to read as follows:
(5) After the initial training, [at least biennial retraining] every 4 years or at such times the department determines there are substantial changes to the initial training.
3 Underground Storage Facilities; Operation Training Requirements. Amend RSA 146-C:18, II(c) to read as follows:
(c) For class C operator training, training to take appropriate action pursuant to the posted operator response guidelines in responding to emergencies and alarms, a physical tour of the facility, and training in reading the alarm enunciation panel by the designated trained class A or B operator at the facility; provided that, after the initial training, there is at least [biennial] retraining every 4 years or refresher training at such times the department determines there are substantial changes to the initial training.
4 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
