AN ACT relative to petitioned warrant articles.

This bill provides that a petitioned warrant article may be amended provided that it retains the intent of the original warrant article.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Eighteen
AN ACT relative to petitioned warrant articles.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Subparagraph; Use of Official Ballot; Petitioned Warrant Articles. Amend RSA 40:13, IV by inserting after subparagraph (c) the following new subparagraph:
(d) Petitioned warrant articles may be amended provided that the intent of the original warrant article shall not be changed.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
