METHODOLOGY:
This bill relates to transportation provided by school districts for public charter school students. The Department of Education does not collect information on local school district bus routes, nor on the number of days (full days or half days) of which chartered public schools are open when the non-chartered public school are closed. Therefore, the additional transportation costs, if any, the public school district will be financially responsible for under this proposed bill is indeterminable.
