AN ACT relative to the use of recycled glass.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Sixteen

 

AN ACT relative to the use of recycled glass.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Construction Process; Use of Recycled Glass.  Amend RSA 21-L:12-b, III to read as follows:

III.(a)  For modifications to an existing bridge, the commissioner may require load resistance factor design (LRFD) specifications from the most current version of the applicable AASHTO manual listed in paragraph I or the specifications that were used for the original design of the bridge.

(b)  For highway construction projects involving paving, the commissioner may allow for the use of recycled glass cullets to be used in the substance used for paving in accordance with AASHTO specifications.  

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
