A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to require the department of health and human services to report on the services provided by clubhouse programs in this state, as recommended by the joint legislative oversight committee on mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse services.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  By September 1, 2011, the Department of Health and Human Services shall submit a report on this State's clubhouse programs to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services.  The report shall include all of the following:

(1)        A description of the types of clubhouse programs available in this State.

(2)        The specific services available in each type of clubhouse program available in this State.

(3)        The actual cost of services provided by each type of clubhouse program available in this State.

(4)        The current reimbursement rate for services provided by clubhouse programs available in this State.

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
