A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to recognize licensed and certified real estate appraisers as providers of professional services in this state.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 93E‑1‑7 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:

"(e)       Real estate appraisers licensed and certified pursuant to this Chapter provide professional services and are subject to the provisions of G.S. 105‑41."

SECTION 2.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
