A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT authorizing sanitary districts to impose impact fees for future maintenance and expansion of the work of the district.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  G.S. 130A‑64 reads as rewritten:

"§ 130A‑64.  Service charges and rates.

Any surplus from operating revenues shall be set aside as a separate fund to be applied to the payment of interest on or to the retirement of bonds or bond anticipation notes. The sanitary district board may modify and adjust these service charges and rates."
