A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to provide funds for the iredell‑statesville schools agriculture and science early college to begin operation in the 2017‑2018 school year.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Public Instruction the sum of three hundred ten thousand six hundred sixty‑nine dollars ($310,669) in recurring funds for the 2017‑2018 fiscal year to be allocated to the Iredell‑Statesville Schools for the establishment of the Agriculture and Science Early College approved by the State Board of Education to begin operation in the 2017‑2018 school year.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2017.
