A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to disapprove rule changes adopted by the wildlife resources commission and approved by the rules review commission to disallow the selling of live foxes and coyotes taken under a depredation permit to controlled hunting preserves.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to G.S. 150B‑21.3(b1), the changes to 15A NCAC 10B .0404 (Trappers and Hunters), adopted by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission on March 4, 2009, and approved by the Rules Review Commission on April 16, 2009, are disapproved.

SECTION 2.  Pursuant to G.S. 150B‑21.3(b1), the changes to 15A NCAC 10B .0409 (Sale of Live Foxes and Coyotes to Controlled Fox Hunting Preserves), adopted by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission on March 4, 2009, and approved by the Rules Review Commission on April 16, 2009, are disapproved.

SECTION 3.  This act is effective when it becomes law.
