A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to lengthen the replacement cycle on school buses.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  The State Board of Education shall revise its guidelines for the replacement of school buses to provide for replacement every 250,000 miles.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2013.
