A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to appropriate funds to the department of justice to expand the internet crimes against children response team.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Justice the sum of four hundred seventy‑eight thousand six hundred ninety dollars ($478,690) in recurring funds for the 2012‑2013 fiscal year and the sum of sixty thousand four hundred ninety‑nine dollars ($60,499) in nonrecurring funds for the 2012‑2013 fiscal year to expand the Internet Crimes Against Children Response Team.  The funds appropriated by this act may be used to fund six new FTE positions.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2012.
