A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT to restore funding to the military morale and welfare fund.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated from the General Fund to a Reserve for the Military Morale, Recreation, and Welfare Fund in the Office of State Budget and Management the sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in the 2012‑2013 fiscal year to reestablish this program of grants to military installations throughout the State to provide community service and quality of life programs for military members and their families.

SECTION 2.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2012.
