A JOINT RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE 2015 GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO CONSIDER A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO BAN AN EMPLOYER FROM INQUIRING ABOUT WHETHER AN APPLICANT FOR EMPLOYMENT HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF A CRIMINAL OFFENSE AND SETTING A CIVIL PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS OF THAT "BAN THE BOX" REQUIREMENT.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

SECTION 1.  The 2015 General Assembly may consider "A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO BAN AN EMPLOYER FROM INQUIRING ABOUT WHETHER AN APPLICANT FOR EMPLOYMENT HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF A CRIMINAL OFFENSE AND SETTING A CIVIL PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS OF THAT "BAN THE BOX" REQUIREMENT."

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
