Senate Bill 3120

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE "FEED MY SHEEP" PROGRAM; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute from any available funds, an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) to the "Feed My Sheep" program.  "Feed My Sheep" has provided regular free meals to hungry, less fortunate and homeless individuals and families in Gulfport and surrounding communities since 1999.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
