AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE LOWNDES COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO ENTER INTO LOAN AGREEMENTS WITH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR TERMS OF NOT MORE THAN 30 YEARS TO FINANCE THE ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY AND OTHERWISE AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AEROSPACE PARK IN THE COUNTY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Lowndes County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to enter into loan agreements with the United States Department of Agriculture for terms of not more than thirty (30) years to finance the acquisition of real property and otherwise aid in the development of the Aerospace Park in Lowndes County.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
