AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE MISSISSIPPI MARITIME MUSEUM, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) annually from any available funds to the Mississippi Maritime Museum, Inc., for a period of five (5) years, and in an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) annually thereafter.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2018.
