AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO EXPEND ANNUALLY, FROM COUNTY FUNDS, LOCAL MATCHING FUNDS TO ICS HEAD START, A FEDERAL NONPROFIT PROGRAM, AND NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to expend annually, from county funds, local matching funds to the following programs and organizations in amounts not to exceed the following:
ICS Head Start, a Federal Nonprofit Program.... $ 50,000.00
Northeast Mississippi Community Services, Inc.. $150,000.00
SECTION 2. This act shall be repealed from and after October 1, 2023.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
