AN ACT TO RESTORE THE RIGHT OF SUFFRAGE TO ANTONIO S'AVALAS SIMPSON OF TUNICA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The right of suffrage is hereby fully and completely restored to Antonio S'Avalas Simpson of Tunica County, Mississippi, who was disqualified as an elector as a result of his conviction of the crime of armed robbery in 1997 in Tunica County, Mississippi, and who was sentenced to serve six (6) years for multiple counts in the custody of the Department of Corrections, all sentences to run consecutively. He was discharged from supervision on March 3, 2003. Since that time, he has conducted himself as a law-abiding and honorable citizen in a good and lawful manner.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
