Senate Bill 2944

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF BENTON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO UNITED COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Benton County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to contribute an amount of not more than Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00) annually, out of any available funds of the county, to United Community Action Agency, Inc., in connection with United Community Action Agency, operating various programs in and for Benton County.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
