AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF DESOTO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE HISTORIC DESOTO FOUNDATION, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of DeSoto County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute from any available funds, an amount not to exceed Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00) annually, through calendar year 2016, to the Historic DeSoto Foundation, Inc.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
