Senate Bill 2916

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF TALLAHATCHIE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO ASSIST THE TOWN OF TUTWILER, MISSISSIPPI, IN THE CONSTRUCTION, EQUIPPING OR FURNISHING OF A RECREATIONAL CENTER OR AREA IN SUCH TOWN; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Tallahatchie County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to assist or aid the Town of Tutwiler, Mississippi, in any way that the county deems proper, in the construction, equipping or furnishing of a recreational center or area in the Town of Tutwiler on property that is owned by the town or leased by the town and, which such property shall be available for the use of county residents.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
