Senate Bill 2788
AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE GREEN SPACE LOCATED BETWEEN THE CARROLL GARTIN JUSTICE BUILDING AND THE WALTER SILLERS OFFICE BUILDING COMPLEX SHALL BE NAMED THE "HOB BRYAN LAWN"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The green space bounded on the north by George Street, on the west by the Carroll Gartin Justice Building, on the south by High Street and on the east by the Walter Sillers Office Building Complex, located in Jackson, Mississippi, shall be named the "Hob Bryan Lawn." The Department of Finance and Administration shall prepare or have prepared two distinctive plaques that shall be placed in prominent places outside the Carroll Gartin Justice Building and outside the Walter Sillers Office Building Complex and shall state the background, accomplishments and service to the state of Senator Hob Bryan.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
