Senate Bill 2787

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO DEMOLISH THE OLD NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY LOCATED ON HIGH STREET IN THE CITY OF JACKSON, HINDS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Department of Finance and Administration is authorized to demolish, using any funds available, the building known as the "Old National Guard Armory" located on the state fairgrounds on High Street in the City of Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
