Senate Bill 2501

AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 27-105-363, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH PROVIDES THAT THE TERM OF OFFICE OF A MUNICIPAL DEPOSITORY SHALL BE TWO YEARS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Section 27-105-363, Mississippi Code of 1972, which provides that the term of office of a municipal depository shall be two (2) years, is hereby repealed.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
