AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE JEFFERSON COUNTY HOSPITAL TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE GENERAL FUND OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The Board of Trustees of the Jefferson County Hospital is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute an amount not to exceed One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00), subject to the availability of funds, to the General Fund of Jefferson County, Mississippi.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2015.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
