Senate Bill 2421

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE LEAKE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO LEASE FOR NO CONSIDERATION ANY PROPERTY OWNED BY THE DISTRICT TO THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI FOR USE AS A NATIONAL GUARD READINESS CENTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Leake County Economic Development District is authorized and empowered to lease for no consideration any property owned by the district to the State of Mississippi for use as a National Guard Readiness Center.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
