AN ACT AUTHORIZING A NEW MISSISSIPPI OFFICIAL STATE SONG ENTITLED "MISSISSIPPI BEAUTIFUL"; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. (1) The lyrics and music in the song entitled "Mississippi Beautiful" by Pam Confer are hereby designated as the official state song of the State of Mississippi. The lyrics of "Mississippi Beautiful" consist of three (3) verses and chorus, as follows:
MISSISSIPPI BEAUTIFUL
VERSE 1:
