AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO TRANSFER AND CONVEY CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, COUNTY OF WARREN, STATE OF MISSISSIPPI TO THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Department of Finance and Administration is authorized to transfer a certain tract or parcel of land to the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi. The tract or parcel is more particularly described as follows:
That certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in Section 19, Township 16 North, Range 3 East and being all of Lots 55 and 56 and the West Half of Lot 54 of Square 11 of that certain survey known as Vicksburg Proper a plat of which is on file at Pages 22 and 23 in Plat Book 69 of the Land Deed Records of the County of Warren, State of Mississippi, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the East line of Monroe Street and the South line of Main Street. Said point being the Northwest corner of Square 11 of that certain survey known as Vicksburg Proper of the Land Deed Records of the County of Warren, State of Mississippi and the point of beginning of land herein described, and from said point of beginning run thence East along the South line of Main Street a distance of 184.38 feet to a point, run thence South parallel with the East line of Monroe Street a distance of 147.50 feet to a point, run thence West parallel with the South line of Main Street a distance of 184.38 feet to a point, run thence North along the East line of Monroe Street a distance of 147.50 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.62 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
