Senate Bill 2267
AN ACT TO REQUIRE A PERSON TO TAG ANY TREE STAND PLACED ON PUBLIC LANDS OR LANDS OF ANOTHER PERSON; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. Any person who places a tree stand on public lands or on the lands of another shall attach a weather resistant tag containing his name and address to the stand. The commission may prescribe the type of tag required under this section.
SECTION 2. Section 1 shall be codified in Chapter 7 of Title 49, Mississippi Code of 1972.
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2015.
