Senate Bill 2179

AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE HOLY BIBLE SHALL BE THE OFFICIAL STATE BOOK; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  There shall be an Official State Book.  The Official State Book shall be the Holy Bible.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2015.
