Senate Bill 2001

AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTION 44 OF CHAPTER 105, LAWS OF 2016 (HOUSE BILL NO. 1643), WHICH IS THE PROHIBITION AGAINST THE EXPENDITURE OR TRANSFER OF ANY PUBLIC FUNDS TO THE MISSISSIPPI ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENTS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. Section 44 of Chapter 105, Laws of 2016 (House Bill No. 1643), which is the prohibition against the expenditure or transfer of any public funds to the Mississippi Association of School Superintendents (MASS), is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
