A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING ENTERPRISE HIGH SCHOOL FOR ACHIEVING THE HIGHEST ACCOUNTABILITY SCORE IN THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI.
WHEREAS, Enterprise High School earned the highest accountability score of all Mississippi high schools, ranking it as the number one high school in the State of Mississippi; and
WHEREAS, on September 25, 2025, the Mississippi Department of Education released the 2024�2025 accountability report, and in this report, Enterprise High School earned the highest accountability score of all Mississippi high schools, receiving a score of 908 out of a possible 1,000 points; and
WHEREAS, located in Clarke County, Mississippi, Enterprise High School serves approximately 250 students in Grades 9 through 12 and continues to demonstrate excellence in academics and student success; and
WHEREAS, guided by Superintendent Marlon Brannan, Principal John Welch, and Counselor Toni Cook, the mission of the Enterprise School District is to graduate responsible, self-reliant innovative citizens by providing ample, diverse and enriched learning opportunities; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the House of Representatives to recognize outstanding academic institutions, especially those such as Enterprise High School, whose excellence brings honor to the Enterprise community and to the State of Mississippi:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, That we do hereby recognize and commend Enterprise High School for achieving the highest accountability score in the State of Mississippi, and extend best wishes for continued success in all its future endeavors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be furnished to Enterprise High School and to the members of the Capitol Press Corps.
