House Bill 97
AN ACT TO PROVIDE THAT THE OPEN SEASON FOR SPOTTED SEATROUT SHALL BE FROM OCTOBER 1 UNTIL THE LAST DAY OF FEBRUARY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The open season for taking spotted seatrout (Cynscion nebulosus) by commercial net fishing shall be from October 1 until the last day of February.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2019.
