House Bill 892

AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO REPLACE ALL DIRECTIONAL TRAFFIC SIGNS FOR THE JACINTO COURTHOUSE IN ALCORN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, THAT THE DEPARTMENT FINDS TO BE IN DISREPAIR; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall conduct a review all directional traffic signs that direct motor vehicles to the Jacinto Courthouse located in Alcorn County, Mississippi.  Any signs that the department finds to be in disrepair shall be replaced as soon as practicable.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2017.
