House Bill 715

AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTIONS 75-23-1 THROUGH 75-23-27, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH PROVIDE FOR THE "UNFAIR CIGARETTE SALES LAW," ESTABLISH DEFINITIONS, AND PROVIDE FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE ARTICLE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Sections 75-23-1, 75-23-3, 75-23-5, 75-23-7, 75-23-9, 75-23-11, 75-23-13, 75-23-15, 75-23-17, 75-23-19, 75-23-21, 75-23-23, 75-23-25 and 75-23-27, Mississippi Code of 1972, known as the Unfair Cigarette Sales Law, are hereby repealed.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2011.
