House Bill 652

AN ACT TO PROHIBIT A COURT FROM REQUIRING ANY FORM OF IDENTIFICATION AS A CONDITION TO ENTER THE BUILDING OR ANY AREA OR ROOM IN THE COURT BUILDING; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  No court in the state may require any form of identification as a condition for entrance into a court building or for entrance into any area or room inside a court building, except as otherwise provided for voting or carrying firearms.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2016.
