AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS THROUGH CALENDAR YEAR 2015 TO THE HATTIESBURG DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION, INCORPORATED, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVITALIZING DOWNTOWN HATTIESBURG; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, in its discretion, may contribute annually up to Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) through calendar year 2015, out of any available funds of the city, to the Hattiesburg Downtown Association, Incorporated, for the purpose of promoting the growth, prosperity, development and revitalization of downtown Hattiesburg.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
