House Bill 42
AN ACT TO PROHIBIT THE SALE OR POSSESSION OF ANY PRODUCT DESIGNED TO ACHIEVE A FALSE NEGATIVE IN ALCOHOL OR DRUG TESTS ADMINISTERED PURSUANT TO A COURT ORDER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or possess any product designed or marketed to assist an individual under a court order to undergo alcohol and/or drug screening which product will assist such individual to achieve a false negative result or other incorrect reading on such screening. A violation of this section shall be a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after July 1, 2013.
