AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE TOWN OF ISOLA, MISSISSIPPI, TO TRANSFER AND CONVEY TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HUMPHREYS COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, A CERTAIN MULTIPURPOSE BUILDING LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF ISOLA; TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO ASSUME ALL OUTSTANDING INDEBTEDNESS FOR SUCH BUILDING; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The governing authorities of the Town of Isola, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to transfer and convey to Humphreys County, Mississippi, the Town of Isola multipurpose building and related facilities located at 201 Julia Street, Isola, Mississippi.  The Board of Supervisors of Humphreys County, Mississippi, is authorized to acquire the Town of Isola multipurpose building and related facilities from the Town of Isola as part of such acquisition and shall assume all indebtedness outstanding on the multipurpose building and the assumption of indebtedness shall be full consideration for the acquisition.

     (2)  In addition to the authority provided in subsection (1) of this section, the Board of Supervisors of Humphreys County and the governing authorities of the Town of Isola are authorized to do the following for the transference and conveyance of the multipurpose building:

          (a) Use any available funds of the county and town;            (b) Execute any documents; and

          (c) Do any and all things necessary to carry out the provisions of this section.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
