House Bill 275

AN ACT TO REPEAL SECTIONS 77-3-101, 77-3-103, 77-3-105, 77-3-107 and 77-3-109, MISSISSIPPI CODE OF 1972, WHICH PROVIDE FOR AN ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF COST RECOVERY ON CERTAIN BASE LOAD GENERATION FOR ELECTRIC PUBLIC UTILITIES AND THE LEGISLATIVE ADVISORY BOARD FOR THE ALTERNATIVE METHOD; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  Sections 77-3-101, 77-3-103, 77-3-105, 77-3-107 and 77-3-109, Mississippi Code of 1972, which provide for an alternative method of cost recovery on certain base load generation for electric public utilities and the legislative advisory board for the alternative method, are repealed.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
