House Bill 1772

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO THE OXFORD-LAFAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION FOR FOUR  FISCAL YEARS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Lafayette County, Mississippi, may contribute annually to the Oxford-Lafayette County Economic Development Foundation, out of any available county funds, an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) in each of the following fiscal years:  for fiscal year 2016, from January 1, 2016, through September 30, 2016; for fiscal year 2017, through September 30, 2017; for fiscal year 2018, through September 30, 2018, and for fiscal year 2019, through December 31, 2019.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
