AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF GRENADA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO SELL GRENADA LAKE MEDICAL CENTER TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI MEDICAL CENTER; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Grenada County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to sell the building, assets and real estate comprising the campus and facility known as Grenada Lake Medical Center, which is county-owned property, to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, not to exceed the average of two (2) competent appraisals, without the necessity of complying with the requirements of Section 41-13-15, Mississippi Code of 1972.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
