House Bill 1680

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF BOONEVILLE TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE BOONEVILLE HARDWARE CULTURAL ARTS CENTER, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. (1) The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Booneville, are authorized, in their discretion, to contribute funds from the general funds of the city in support of the Booneville Hardware Cultural Arts Center, Inc., pursuant to Section 39-15-1, Mississippi Code of 1972.

(2) This section shall be repealed on December 31, 2010.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
