AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO PURCHASE, CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN SATELLITE OFFICES WITHIN THE SUPERVISORS' RESPECTIVE DISTRICTS, WITHOUT REGARD TO THE COUNTY SEAT, FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE COUNTY AND ITS CITIZENS SO LONG AS THE PRIMARY OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS REMAINS IN THE COUNTY SEAT; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Jackson County, Mississippi, in its discretion, is authorized to have full power and authority to purchase, construct and maintain satellite offices within the supervisors' respective districts, without regard to the county seat, for the convenience of the county and its citizens so long as the primary office of the board of supervisors remains in the county seat.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
