House Bill 1601
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY TO PIGS-IN-FLIGHT, A CHILDREN'S MUSEUM THAT PROVIDES EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAMS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to contribute annually from its general funds Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) to Pigs-In-Flight, a 501 (c)(3) children's museum that provides early childhood education programs.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
