AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF RANKIN COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO DONATE A PORTION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE MISSISSIPPI BURN FOUNDATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A BURN CENTER LODGE FOR FAMILIES OF BURN VICTIMS; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Board of Supervisors of Rankin County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered in its discretion, to donate a portion of the following piece of real property to the Mississippi Burn Foundation, a nonprofit corporation, for the purpose of constructing a Burn Center Lodge in which families of burn victims may reside while the burn victim undergoes treatment at the Joseph M. Still Burn and Reconstructive Center, Inc., at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, Mississippi: 

     A certain tract of land containing 3.80 acres, more or less situated in the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 7, Township 5 North, Range 3 East, and in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 5 North, Range 2 East Rankin County, Mississippi, and being the same tracts of land as conveyed to Rankin Medical Center by Warranty Deed and recorded In Deed Book 609 at page 519, a part of that same tract of land as conveyed to Rankin Medical Center by Warranty Deed and recorded in Deed Book 652 at page 557, and the same tract of land as conveyed to Rankin Medical Center by Quitclaim Deed and recorded in Deed Book 707 at page 316 in the Office of the

     Chancery Clerk, of Rankin County, Mississippi, and being more particularly described as follows:

          Beginning at a 1/2" rebar marking the Southwest corner of Crossgates Drive West, a subdivision of record and on file in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Rankin County, Mississippi, in Plat Cabinet B at Slot 167; run thence North 89° 58' 00" West for 50.00 feet; run thence North 01° 00' 00" East for 483.49 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence South 89° 58' 38" East for 714.38 feet to a 1/2" rebar set on the West line of Crossgates Boulevard; thence South 00° 01' 22" West along the West line of said Crossgates Boulevard for 58.00 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence South 89° 58' 00" West for 68.37 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence South 00° 04' 59" East for 11.04 feet to a 1/2" rebar set on the North line of Crossgates Drive West; thence Southwesterly along the arc of a 24° 54' 40" curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 230.00 feet, for an arc distance of 177.52 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence South 45° 41' 41" West for 72.30 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence Southwesterly along the arc of a 33° 42' 12" curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 170.00 feet, for an arc distance of 131.16 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence South 89° 53' 59" West for 114.00 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence Westerly, Southerly and Easterly along the arc of a 114° 35' 30" curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 50.00 feet, for an arc distance of 213.53 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence South 00° 02' 00" West for 170.46 feet to a 1/2" rebar; thence North 89° 58' 00" West for 130.00 feet to the point of beginning.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
