House Bill 1485

AN ACT TO REQUIRE THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO PROVIDE A REPORT TO THE LEGISLATURE WITH A PLAN BY THE DEPARTMENT TO IMPLEMENT THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE DUI INFORMATION-EXCHANGE IMPROVEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE THAT WAS SUBMITTED TO THE LEGISLATURE IN NOVEMBER 2016; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  The Department of Public Safety shall provide a report to the Legislature no later than December 31, 2019, with a plan by the department to implement the recommendations of the DUI Information-Exchange Improvement Advisory Committee that was submitted to the Legislature in November 2016 pursuant to Senate Bill No. 2777, 2016 Regular Session.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
