House Bill 1466

AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE STOREHOUSE COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  (1)  The governing authorities of the City of Vicksburg, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in their discretion, to contribute annually from its general funds an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) to the Storehouse Community Food Pantry.

     (2)  This section shall be repealed from and after July 1, 2021.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
