AN ACT TO DIRECT THE STATE FISCAL OFFICER TO TRANSFER A CERTAIN SUM FROM A DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION FUND TO THE BUDGET CONTINGENCY FUND DURING FISCAL YEAR 2012; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

     SECTION 1.  During fiscal year 2012, the State Fiscal Officer shall transfer from the Department of Finance and Administration Fund No. 3996 to the Budget Contingency Fund the sum of Seven Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Two Hundred Forty-four Dollars ($785,244.00), plus any additional interest earned and credited to the fund up to the date of the transfer.

     SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
