House Bill 1437
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARSHALL COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS TO QUALIFIED CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS HAVING A VALID AND CURRENT (501)(C)(3) DESIGNATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:
SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, is authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to contribute, from any available funds, an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00) annually to a qualified charitable organization having a valid and current (501)(c)(3) designation.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
